Food & Nutrition
I aim to help children learn about a healthy diet and good hygiene, for example, by washing their hands before eating. We encourage children to join in preparing healthy snacks.
We focus on healthy eating.
Children are provided with a variety of freshly cooked authentic meals taking allergens into consideration
I have a healthy eating policy
Healthy meals are cooked on the premises in accordance with the government’s healthy eating guidelines.
We have a 5 Star rating with the Food Standards Agency.
Everyone has completed the food hygiene course. Sweets and chocolates are not allowed except on special occasions.

What does a food guide recommend?Follow the Canada Food Guide – It is not new, but it still works! Whole grains, fruits , veggies, and protein are the must- haves. Everything else is like icing. Don’t serve more icing than cake!
